Types of Adverbs
Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives and other adverbs by answering the following questions When? Where? How? How often? To what extent?
| Time | When? She always arrives early. | early, late, soon, now, then, today, tomorrow, yesterday |
| Place | Where? They go everywhere together. | here, there, inside, outside, far, near |
| Manner | How? She eats slowly. | slowly, quickly, well, badly |
| Frequency | How often? I always lose my keys. | never, ever, usually, always, often |
| Degree | To what extent? It’s very cold, isn't it ? | too, quite, very |
Ուշադրություն
Most adverbs of manner end in –ly.
badly, happily, sadly, slowly, quickly
Adverbs of manner not ending in -ly ( well, hard, fast) appear at the end of the sentence.

Frequency adverb Never is used in affirmative sentences.

Never talk to me like that.
Frequency adverb Ever is used in negative and interrogative sentences.
